Bluebell Sessions - Back in April 2025

The beautiful Bluebell season is one of my absolute favourites and one that I’ve photographed every year since I started my business. I always think they work particuarly well with the younger children as they can run wild and have fun. Ideally these sessions are for babies from walking age upwards as we can get a lot more variety in our images but babies that can sit confidently are always welcomed.

The location will be around the Billericay/Stock/Brentwood area – the exact location will be provided about a week before the shoot once I know where the best coverage is this year. 

Bluebells are funny things and only last around 2 -3 weeks max and sometimes bloom much earlier or later than expected.  I’ve taken these dates based on the last 7 years of doing them so I’m confident that they will be out, but I will also be holding the dates mentioned above as back up days should we need them because they can sometimes bloom much earlier or later than expected and we'll also hold these dates in case of bad weather. 

These sessions are suitable for any age but I really recommend them for younger children and toddlers due to the height of the bluebells.

There's a non refundable deposit of £25 to secure your session.  If you should need to cancel, the deposit can be moved to any other type of shoot within 12 months as long as cancellations are made within 48 hours notice.

Once you’re booked in, I’ll send you a confirmation with some ideas on what to dress your little ones in and I’m always happy for you to send me photos of outfit choices if you get stuck.

Rapeseed Flower Fields Sessions - Back in May 2025

Think these might be my one of my favourite session types! The yellow flowers are just beautiful and provide the perfect backdrop for capturing your family. These sessions will be 30 minutes in length and are for one family unit only. The location is currently looking to be in Billericay where I’ve found a lovely field.

These sessions are great for all ages but particularly good for slightly older children age 4 and up due to the size of the rapeseed flowers. They’re also really perfect for family photos with the children being held with a sea of gorgeousness behind you!

The shoots are £135 and include all of the final edited digital images. Normally around 20-30 depending on what takes place during the shoot.

Beach Sessions - 30th June 2024 - Sold Out - back in 2025

Oh I do love to be beside the seaside! It’s just the perfect place to make memories and have fun in the summer sun. I’ve decided to extend these shoots to 40 minutes this year as I’m aware people are travelling quite far to do them.

The location is Holland on sea and the shoots take place later in the day when hopefully the beach is quieter and the light is softer. I’ve shot at this location for a few years now and it works perfectly.

Taking place on Sunday 30th June these shoots are ideally designed for one family unit but I can accommodate grandparents etc - just click the extended family option when booking. It’s an extra £25 just to cover the additional editing time.

A clothing guide will be included in the confirmation guide and your aways welcome to send me pictures of outfits etc. I’ll give you as much guidance and help as you need.

Lavender Sessions - Sunday 14th July 2024 - Sold Out

I’m very excited to be doing our first Lavender field sessions. These will be taking place on the afternoon/evening of Sunday 14th July at the glorious Finchingfield Lavender Field, CM7 4JB. I visited myself last year and love the small set up and layout of the lavender. I don’t know if you’ve been to some of the larger lavender fields out there but sometimes the rows are sown very close together which means lots of bees! Not always very relaxing with small children ha ha. At the lovely Finchingfield, the rows are planted a bit further part so there’s plenty of space to walk up and down. We may even get some wildflowers to play in as well if we are lucky.

These sessions will be strictly for one family unit only (purely as the field will be open to other visitors on the day so not appropriate to have large groups for this one)

Everyone coming on the shoot must purchase an entrance ticket for the field which can be booked at https://www.finchingfieldcamping.co.uk (£6 for adults and £3 for children - tickets aren’t on sale yet). There is a lovely cafe on site (shuts at 6pm) and you can stay and enjoy some time in the fields and a refreshing drink or even bring a picnic so you really can turn this into a lovely day out.

Golden Hour Sessions - July Evenings - Back in 2025

Summer evenings!! The perfect flattering light and gorgeous golden tones! Sunset in July is around 9.15pm - quite late for my younger clients but we can still get lovely images with a softer light from about 6pm onwards. I’ve set up slots in July on Monday and Thursday evenings but watch out for new slots being added all the time if we have a little heatwave at any point.

The locations for these will be very local to Billericay - the fields are constantly cut/or grass is getting a bit too long in the summer so I’ll scout us the best location with parking based on the time of your shoot.

The shoots are £165 will be 30 minutes long are suitable for one family unit and include all the final edited digital images.

Sunflower Sessions - SOLD OUT - Back in August 2025

The sunflower mini shoots are such a favourite with all of my clients. These will be taking place on a weekday evening to make the most of that golden evening light. The shoots are 30 mins long and include ALL of the final edited digital images. Normally around 20-30 images. They’ll be taking place at the beautiful Writtle Sunflowers once again and we’ll have use of the field once it’s closed to the public in the evening..

The shoots are £165 and suitable for one family unit. I’d personally recommend these sessions for over 4’s as a rough guideline due to the time of day shoots are taking place and also the flowers can grow very tall but thats just a rough guide, younger children can always be held if needs be in the photos.

Back to School Sessions - Back in September 2025

This fun photoshoot is the perfect keepsake for all little ones starting school for the first time. It’s only 15 minutes long as we’re only looking for one perfect image to use in your final photo. During the photoshoot we’ll have lots of fun trying out different poses and using different props and then I’ll send you all of your best images, from there you pick your favourite and I do a little photoshop magic and voila you’ll receive your hi res digital image ready to share and print!

The shoot is also suitable for all year groups and also preschool children. Many of my clients do these shoots each year instead of the traditional school photos. It’s a lovely keepsake of what your child loved at each age.

Autumn Mini Sessions - 26th & 27th October - Sold out for 2024

Ahhhh Autumn, what’s not to love, the changing colours of the trees, the days getting a little crisper. Lot’s of opportunities for leaf fights, being silly and doing what you do best as a family just having fun whilst I capture the precious moments.

The Autumn shoots are suitable for all ages (babies in arms is absolutely fine) and I know a lot of my clients always use these shoot images to make fabulous Christmas presents for Grandparents etc

Be prepared to arrive a little before your shoot start time as I sometimes get you to meet me in the woods (don’t worry I’ll send a location pin, we won’t get lost) just so we can maximise our time together and as much variety in your images as possible.

I’m more than happy to help out with outfit choices as well, my confirmation email will give you a rough guide to ideal colours and as always, I’m more than happy to help you style your shoot to make sure you are all feeling and looking your best.

2025 Christmas Mini Sessions - Back next year with a new theme - Check back in September 2025

Ohhh it’s the most wonderful time of year!! This will be my 9th year of Christmas mini sessions and I’m so proud to say that I’ve come up with a completely new scene every single year! This year I've created a Christmas Tree Farm, it's a bit big so I’ve had to take over the garage under the studio (my husband is delighted!). The good news is that whilst thats all set up downstairs, I can also provide my Christmas themed “In the Box sessions” up in the studio as so many of you have been asking me to bring these back. The “In the box” shoots can also be plain themed (it’s makes for a fab piece of artwork to have up all year round and they also make a fabulous Christmas present).

Which one will you choose?  

Sessions will be taking place throughout the whole of November - we've got weekends, weekdays, after school - I've tried to find times to suit everyone but once these dates are gone they are gone so book now! 

What does the shoot include?

• Up to 25 minute shoot time

• One family unit - please book two back to back sessions for cousins and I’ll take these images at no extra charge in-between the two sessions

• Parents are welcome to get involved for family pictures

• Babies must be able to sit unassisted or held in a participating sibling/parents lap for the shoot

• In The Box Shoot - £135 - this includes the shoot, my editing time, lots of me time whilst we go back and forth on the best images and of course, the final digital image made of your 9 best images.  You have the final say on what images we use

• Christmas Tree Farm shoot - £115 this includes the shoot, editing time and ALL digital images - circa 15-20 as a rough estimation, children dependent of course!!

There's a non refundable deposit of £30 to secure your session.  Please ensure you are booking a session that you can attend as it can be very difficult to reschedule at my busiest time of year.  If you should need to completely cancel, the deposit can be moved to any other type of shoot within 12 months as long as cancellations are made within 48 hours notice.

Every child attending will also receive a little present as always.  I’ve already started my Christmas shopping for them all!
